An Evening to Remember: Celebrating the Launch of Our Military Edition Field Watch
A special watch. An unforgettable evening. A reminder of what Time Well Spent is all about.
Some projects mean a little more. And some evenings remind us exactly why we do what we do.
On October 29th, we gathered with friends, family, veterans, and supporters of Hook + Gaff to celebrate the launch of our new Military Edition Field Watch. What began as an idea to create a watch honoring the men and women who have served our country became something far more meaningful than we ever could have imagined.
It was an evening filled with friendship, stories, laughter, a few tears, and a shared appreciation for what it truly means to live a life of Time Well Spent.

More Than Just a Watch
When we first envisioned the Military Edition Field Watch, our goal was to create something that honored military service while giving back to the veteran community.
Through our partnership with Upstate Warrior Solution, a portion of the proceeds from every Military Edition watch sold will help support veterans and their families as they build connections, find purpose, and navigate life beyond their service.
We were honored to have Charlie Hall from Upstate Warrior Solution join us for the evening and share more about the incredible work their organization is doing in our community.
But this project also became deeply personal and we will share more about the story behind the first edition in the next few days.
Two Films. Two Powerful Stories.
One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was the premiere of two short films created by Bravo Film House and Gaines Roberts.
The first shared the story behind the creation of our Military Edition Field Watch — why we felt called to create it, what inspired the design, and how our partnership with Upstate Warrior Solution brings a greater purpose to this project.
The second, Dangerous Men, was a deeply personal tribute to the life and legacy of a dear friend and the inspiration behind our first edition.
There were plenty of emotional moments in the room, but also smiles, laughter, and a powerful reminder that a person's legacy lives on through the people they've touched.

A Night of Time Well Spent
Of course, no Hook + Gaff gathering would be complete without good food, good music, and great company.
Guests enjoyed a Lowcountry boil prepared by Matt Carpenter, live music from Trey Stephens, and a special bourbon tasting courtesy of Duck Club Bourbon. Val Kahler was there to capture the evening through her photography, giving us memories we will cherish for years to come.
To everyone who helped bring this evening together, and to everyone who took the time to join us, thank you.
Your support means more than you know.

The Story Is Just Beginning
While the release party marked the introduction of our Military Edition Field Watch, it also marked the beginning of something we hope will have a lasting impact.
Each future edition will continue our commitment to honoring the stories of those who have served, while supporting organizations that make a difference in the lives of veterans.
We're excited to share the two films premiered that evening with all of you on November 9 and Veterans Day, November 11.
And on November 11, our Military Edition Field Watch will officially open for public pre-order.
We hope this watch serves as more than a tribute to military service. We hope it reminds those who wear it to live with purpose, value the people around them, and make the most of every moment.
Because at the end of the day, that's what Hook + Gaff has always been about.
Don't just count the hours. Make the hours count.
Time Well Served. Time Well Spent.
