Cordura® is a registered trademark and patented woven nylon fabric. It is tough and durable and built to withstand the most adverse outdoor conditions. Cordura uses a type of nylon yarn that simulates the rugged, fuzzy texture of natural cotton yarn. This 22mm strap fits all men's models except the Captain.

I've worn the watch (which is awesome!) Every day for about 2 weeks and the strap is starting to fray at many friction points. I give it 3 moths max before it has to be replaced. I'll probably switch to rubber.

I purchased the field watch with a leather strap for my husband last year. Was happy to be able to get an interchangeable band for a more casual look and to use while in the water.
