It’s only fitting that our new flagship timepiece harkens back to the origins of the word with a luxury watch built for an admiral. Called the Fleetmaster, this limited-edition, mechanical fishing GMT watch is the ultimate luxury timepiece that considers the lifestyle of the sportsman wearer.

The Fleetmaster differs from the traditional Hook+Gaff watch in that it’s a mechanical timepiece with adjustable GMT (dual-time) reading. Unlike most delicate mechanical watches, the Fleetmaster retains the qualities Hook+Gaff luxury watches are known for: left-hand crown for active comfort, water tightness to 200 meters and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal that maintains a new look.

Equipped with the highly sought-after Swiss ETA 2836 automatic movement, the Fleetmaster is hand-assembled in North Carolina. Other features include: 

• 316-L surgical stainless steel case
• Date window at the 4 o’clock
• Illuminated hands by Swiss Super-Luminova
• 100 percent legal, all-American alligator leather bands with stainless steel buckle and clasp

GMT watches were created in the 1950s as aviator watches. During this time, commercial pilots began flying through multiple time zones and needed to be able to track different time zones concurrently. While GMT watches have evolved over time, the basic idea of them has remained the same, and our version is ideal for the adventure traveler who needs the luxury of a businessman but the strength of an admiral.
