This review is loooong overdue. In December I finished a year on the wrist with the Sportfisher II. The watch has been exactly what I wanted in a timepiece – lightweight, comfortable, great looking, rugged, watertight, left-side crown, and best of all – accurate as all get out. The watch pretty much speaks for itself. Over the last year, I ordered an extra strap through H+G. Something happened with the delivery, and the strap didn’t arrive within the recommended timeframe. I waited an extra week and then contacted H&G directly to check on my order. To my surprise, the owner answered my call himself. Upon hearing my situation, he immediately resent my chosen strap to me, without question. It arrived in record time. In December, I contacted H+G again to see if they could refer me to a local location where I could have my seals checked, as I was soon going to be involved in a variety of water sports. The owner answered my e-mail in record time and invited me to send my watch to the company’s watchmaker to have him personally take a look at the watch and test the seals. This was during the Christmas rush, and they still managed to get my watch back to me within 2 weeks. Bottom line, if you want a comfortable, excellent-preforming watch that is backed by great people at a great company, you can’t go wrong with a H+G watch. Love the Sportfisher II.
